1Password launches user-approved credential filling for personal AI agents
- Event
- Published
1Password launched 1Password for Agents, which lets supported agents request a login and have the password manager fill credentials after user approval without sending the secret to the model. Muse and Grok Bot integrations are rolling out, while Claude Duet, ChatGPT Work, dots and several others are still listed as coming soon.
Why it matters
The platform separates agent authorization from credential disclosure, but its security guarantees and practical coverage still vary by partner integration.
