OpenAI and Poland’s NASK National Research Institute signed an agreement to explore joint AI safety, security and technical research. The work may cover capability evaluation, vulnerability discovery and safeguards, but the announcement gives no project list, budget, milestones or publication commitments.

Why it matters

The agreement adds Poland’s AI safety institute to OpenAI’s network of public-sector research partners, while leaving the practical scope and accountability mechanisms undefined.
