NVIDIA released Nemotron 3.5 Bolt E4B 4GB, an 8-billion-parameter model with 4 billion effective parameters, a 64K context window and downloadable GGUF weights. It targets local voice, device and robot interfaces, but its quality, token-efficiency and throughput comparisons are NVIDIA measurements rather than independent reproductions.

Why it matters

A tool-using conversational model sized for roughly 4GB of memory could keep more agent interactions on edge devices instead of sending them to the cloud.
