Conceptual engraving: an exploded server rack and agent glyph represent decentralized coordination among many coding agents.

Microsoft Research released Agensh under the MIT license, including a single-node harness, launch scripts and a reproduction guide for decentralized coding-agent teams. The accompanying September paper reports higher ProgramBench pass rates as teams scale, but the evidence covers five hard coding tasks, uses large compute budgets and has not been independently reproduced.

Why it matters

The release gives developers a runnable reference for replacing a central agent orchestrator with shared workspaces, messaging and persistent context.
